Henry Zheng

Hey, I’m Henry, thanks for visiting my site! I study CS at Yale and like building different tech. I’m particularly interested in ML systems (reinforcement learning and inference engineering), software engineering, and startups.

I got into programming making calculator games for my friends and me. Since then, I’ve come to believe that technology, used responsibly, can be an exponential multiplier of human capability. I’m a definite optimist about what we can build with it.

Experience

2026

MTS at Agora

Second engineer, building software to help enterprises make sense of where and how they use AI. Got to work with a great team and was given tons of agency, working across the stack and owning the platform’s analytics. Learned a lot about ClickHouse data warehousing and Cloudflare Workers along the way.

2025–26

Cofounder & CTO at Noetic, Y Combinator W26

Started Noetic and built models to pre-label large-scale video datasets used to train vision-language-action (VLA) models.

2025

Software Engineer at OnyxPoint Global Management

Joined as the firm’s first technical hire, working part-time directly with the CIO and investment team to build internal tooling.

2025

SDE Intern at AWS

Worked on the Agentic AI DevOps team, applying a ton of my full-stack experience while getting much more familiar with agent observability, cloud infrastructure, and AWS services.

2024–Present

Developer at Yale CourseTable

Part of the team behind CourseTable, the course search platform used by nearly every Yale student. It’s an incredibly talented team that I’m lucky to be a part of.
